Delete from the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the Gibbet app:

Open Gibbet and go to your Profile tab.

Tap Settings (gear icon).

Scroll down and tap Delete Account.

Confirm your decision. Your account and data will be permanently deleted.
Can't Access the App?
If you can't log in or no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion by email. Please include the email address associated with your account.
About anonymized content: Publicly posted content (posts, comments, wiki contributions) may be anonymized rather than fully deleted to preserve community context. If you'd like all public content fully removed, mention this in your deletion request and we'll handle it.
Data Retention
Some limited data may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion for the following purposes:

Legal compliance — To meet regulatory or legal obligations.

Safety & fraud prevention — To protect the community from abuse.
After the retention period, all remaining data is permanently purged from our systems.
This action is permanent. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Any active subscriptions (Cricket, Deluxe, or PatoPlus) should be cancelled through your device's app store before deleting your account to avoid continued billing.
