Our Commitment

Gibbet has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any form of child exploitation on our platform. We are committed to preventing, detecting, and responding to any content or behavior that endangers minors.

Our platform is designed for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts, and we take immediate action when we become aware of underage users.

Every user can report content, messages, and profiles directly within the app. Reports are reviewed promptly by our moderation team.

Harmful content is removed immediately upon discovery. Users who post CSAM or engage in exploitative behavior are permanently banned and reported to authorities.

Users control their visibility with community-level privacy settings. Communities can be set to public, unlisted, invite-only, or fully private.

Role-Based Permissions

Granular permission controls prevent unauthorized access to moderation tools. Only trusted community members can be elevated to moderation roles.

Moderation Hierarchy

Every Gibbet community has a structured moderation team to ensure safety:

Agent Platform-level moderators appointed by Gibbet with the highest authority
Leader Community owners and senior moderators with full community management powers
Curator Trusted community members who help moderate content and conversations

Reporting & Response

When CSAM or child exploitation is identified on Gibbet, we take the following actions:

Immediate Removal

Content is removed from the platform immediately upon identification.

Account Termination

The offending account is permanently banned from Gibbet with no possibility of reinstatement.

Authority Reporting

We report all identified CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.

Evidence Preservation

Relevant data is preserved as required by law to assist in investigations, while being removed from public visibility immediately.

Report Child Safety Concerns

If you encounter any content or behavior on Gibbet that may endanger a child, please report it immediately โ€” both through the in-app reporting tools and by contacting us directly.

For emergencies involving immediate danger to a child, please contact local law enforcement or the NCMEC CyberTipline.

Legal Compliance: Gibbet complies with all applicable child safety laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and reports to regional and national authorities as required. We regularly review and update our safety practices to meet evolving standards.
